I’m not dead, despite the fact that I haven’t blogged for a few days. Really, I haven’t blogged because I’ve been writing. Or should I say trying to write? This story is going to be a delicate balance. The character is pretty raw, and edgy, and there are aspects of it that I worry readers might find depressing, but after chatting with a freind yesterday about it all, i’m going to stick with it. The story is the story, right? And not everything in life is fairy tale perfect, so why should everything in a story be that way?
I like real characters with real flaws, and real bad habits. And I think that if the story is told right, readers will appreciate it.
What do you think?
I completely agree with you Sasha. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I don’t need happy happy joy joy in the books I read. I do need a well written story that makes me believe in it.
:mrdevil: if we didnt have flaws we wouldnt have no fun
Hey, if the story is good that’s all that matters!
