As usual, Saturday was pretty much a wastd day for me. I slept late, went tot he bank, vstied Mom, went tothe grocery store, fell asleep on the couch, got called into work, (went into fix a computer problem, then left) and am just not, at 2 in the morning, getting to my writing for the day. πŸ™‚

I’m doing a last edit on some of my older, shorter stories to put together as asmall collection for Amber Quill. There’s no gaurentee they’ll take them, but I figure what the hell? They’re just taking up space o n my hard drive right now, may as well see if anyone likes them. Those of you that are on my Newsletter list have already read a couple of them. πŸ˜‰

I’ve let the sci-fi idea cook in my mind for quite a bit, and think I have it figured out. The first scene anyway, and really, that’s all I need cuz once I get started, I like to let the characters take over. I’m also very anxious to get back to Katie and Joe’s story, WILLING. Especially since the short story that I dsicovered them on has just hit stores. I reread it, inthe actual book the other day, adn I’m in lust with Joe all over again. The guy is such a totally hot Alpha that I wonder if I’ll be able to do him justice.

In my day to day life, I worked my last managing shift this past week, and will now be working one Lunch shift a week along with my two bar shifts. This means more daylight for me, people! πŸ˜€ I’m hoping this will help me get back into a healthier lifestyle. Daylight, sunshine, outdoors in the summer, the gym. Maybe I’ll stop being a hermit that only leaves the house to go to work. 😎

I’m eagerly awaiting weather where I can go sit outside with my Neo to write, get some vitamin D via the sun, I might even play softball this summer, and ohhh, Margarita’s. Ach! I know I can have margaritas anytime, but really, there are best when sitting on a patio in the sun.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

  1. πŸ˜€ I can just picture you sitting in you lawn chair bent over your neo typing away, stopping for a sip of your iced margerita…maybe I could join you. My buddy is goning to Texas and looking for a personal trainer… okay I can’t go but I can fantasize about it.

  2. I’m in Arizona. We fry in the summer. LOL. Fall, winter, and spring are our times for outdoors. We are having a swimming pool built (with a cool waterfall!) so maybe we can get some porch misters or something that will make it easier to sit out back by the pool and write. Other than that it’s look through the window at the sunny day while I write. πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to sitting in the shade of my favorite tree with a cold drink, pen, and pad, writing a bestseller. (hey, I can dream!).

And seeing buff guys with open shirts & nice tight shorts is a thought too… πŸ˜€
