I try to stay out of the whole erotica vs romance type of debates. I like to think my stories speak for themselves, and I don’t care to defend my style or choices against ignorance.
However, I feel the pressing need to post a link to Shannon’s blog and her response to a particularly nasty post by someone I’ve never heard of, and never care to hear from again.
Check it out. Shannon’s response if 100% spot on!
You’re right on. Exellent response. I tend to stay out of the whole mess (I’d rather talk about my puppy, LOL). It’s good to see such intelligent responses to said article. 🙂
Like Chey, I either stay out of it or reply carefully. I think Shannon’s blog is hilarious. I’m pleased to see so many people taking the writer to task. (I say ‘the writer’ because I don’t remember her name.) Yes, my attention span is THAT short.
Cheyenne~ The puppy is cute!
Jordan~ I don’t remember her name either!
The new smilies on Shannon’s site help make it so much fun there too. I think I might have to get wordpress just so I can have the smilies!! 😛
The Husband actually asked me if I thought the smilies were professional enough (he’s the one footing the DFM design bill, after all.) But I told him people love the smilies, so I give them smilies. We decided I’d try to limit my use of them in the actual front page posts, and we’d party in the comments. 🙂
And thanks for the kind words. I’ve been trying to resolve to stay out of such things more, but this one…it was either blog or explode. *g*
