Check it out!!

I know, I know. ABDUCTION isn’t going to be available until July…but GH and TDI are available now, and MEANDROS will be on June 5th. :blush:

I had this made for promotional purposes. SO GREAT! I look at it and I feel a bit awed. I wrote those stories! Me!

You know, sometimes I can’t help but wonder if I’m kidding myself my saying I’m a writer. But when I look at something like this…I admit to feeling a bit of pride, and a sense of accomplishment. It helps remind me to push on, keep at it.

What small things give you a kick in the pants and remind you of your goals like nothing else can?

    The banner looks great!

    Looking through the journal-type thing I started at the beginning of the year, with all my short-term and long-term goals, can kick my butt into action.

    The banner is great. I think it’s natural to wonder about this crazy path. What keeps it in perspective for me is asking myself, "What would you do if you could do anything?" So far, ‘write’ is the only answer that comes to mind. If that changes, THEN I’ll think about doing something else.

    Things I get a bang out of: hearing from readers, seeing my name on Amazon (3 titles there now, WOOO!), signing contracts. I love that "this is a real thing" feeling a contract gives me.

    Non-business things that charge me up: seeing my daily word count go up, finishing a project, getting a scene right. I love the process of getting a story down! 😀

    Jill~ Thanks! Frauke, from Cupids Library Reviews in Europe did the banner for me! She sldo did the the slogan I’ve added to the home page. I might add it to allt he pages, we’re seeing how much shifting of things needs to be done. But she’s been great to work with, and fast.

    Amy~ I can remember about 10 years ago I watched an Oprah show and she said make a "to do" list for Life goals. I still have it…and looking at it DOES give me a kick in the pants.

    Jordan~ You’re so lucky to know whatit is you really want to do (and that you ARE doing it). I struggle all the time..I want to do everything!! :crazy:

    Charlene~ I bet the amazon feel is a wonderful thing! Yay for you. Three is a grat number. It sorta means you’re there to stay. 😀

    As for the kick in the ass, word count does it for me. I need a visual reminder of what I have (and haven’t done) 🙂

    The banner is lovely, as are your covers. Saw TDI on the new erotic romance writers boards, too.

    I’d have to say increased page count. Watching that number increase is like having a little cheering section chanting softly, "You can do it. You can do it."

    Validation is nice, too (like the e-mail I rec’d this a.m. from my publisher saying they wanted my erotic romance novella). I’m still a little loopy. :hehe:

    Yep, Sasha. Really! Girl scout’s honor. 😀 Hmm… Oh man, the review of your book isn’t up in RT website. :angry: I think they’ve not updated it yet. Anyway, it’s on page 134.
