I’m definitely not a huge planner, but since I took a couple months off from writing, I’ve had a very hard time getting started again. I’m also not one of those writers who has characters living inside their head demanding their story be told. There are characters that I create and then have to write their story because I am dieing to, but it’s not the character’s doing. If that makes sense?
I’ve always envied writers who talk abtou all the characters living in their head (Stephanie, that would be you for sure. ) or those that have “So many ideas” they can’t decide what to write. I have genreal ideas, but then when I sti down to start one, they all sound like crap. LOL
Anyway, Because I’ve got no driving need to write a certain story, I’ve been floundering a bit lately – trying to decide what to do next. Yesterday, I got my agent on the phone and threw some questions at her. Then some ideas. And she helped me get a plan of attack together.:attack:
It is just a plan, no gaurentees since these stories aren’t sold, but the plan for the next year and the next, uhmm, at least 7 books, makes me feel great!! Nope, I’m not ready to share that plan with you all- yet! But, based on topics here and discussions we’ve had, I think you’ll be happy.
Until then, I thought I’d give you a little update on what’s still to come…as in already sold or written and in production.
Trouble: August 7th from Berkley Heat
Sexy Devil: Nov 27 from Kensington Aphrodisia
Wicked: January 2008 from Berkley Heat
Alluring Tales- Hot Summer Nights: August 2008 From Avon Red
Ask Eve: Sept 2008 from Berkley Heat
Rogue Heart from Samhain Publishing will be in there too. I THINK releasing around December 2007. I’ll let you know when I get a firm release date.
Everythign up until AT Hot Summer Nightds is already written, and my Coming Soon Page will be updated soon!
I’ve always thought I’d be perfectly happy if someone gave me entire outlines for books and just told me to write them. :jump: I likek those jumping humps.
I can’t wait to see what you have in the works π
It’s good to have a plan! I always do, but it does tend to shift as things change. :great:
I’m ready to get my greedy little hands on the new titles. *stamps foot impatiently* I need something good to read toward the end of summer when I’ll finally be able to tackle my TBR pile. π
Hey baby, do these plans include anything that we talked about on the phone a couple of weeks back? You know – your one idea for that new series of books?
How’s that for vague?
Charli, I’m great at makeing plans, but they rarely stick.LOL
Shannon, Trouble will be out at the start of August, in the meantime, there’s always LUSH and KINK.
Lorelei. Sort of.
How’s that for a vague answer? LOL
