Okay, I know that this image above, where the video pauses, looks like I am Hammered drunk, but I’m not! I swear!

  1. Hi Sasha. Thank you for your video-blog. I really appreciated the your candidness and … hmmm… vulnerability (?) in the post. I’m so impressed by your self-awareness in where you’re at and where you want to go! We are each much more than the romances we write (or read), and I’m looking forward to the photography or nf writing or hot reads you’re going to share with us! I just re-read Lush and loved it in whole new ways, and so I’ll be off to write some online reviews 🙂 Take care.

  2. lol@ doing your taxes. I finally got the last of the docs I need this week and plan to do my own this weekend. 😛

I absolutely agree that the energy/passion in the writing shows on the page. Re-group hon.

Love these video posts, by the way. I hope you do more of them in the future.

  3. Hi Alison. YAY! I’m so glad you enjoyed LUSH. It’s set in my the city I live in right now y’know? There is no such gallery here, but therea re times I think about opening one.

I was playing with my camera earlier today, so you might see some photos soon. 🙂

  4. Vanessa, Every year I say I’m going to be organized next year (re: taxes) And to be honest, I do get a little bit better each year, but, well, it’s a work in progress. LOL

As for the video posts. I’m sure there will be more…after all, it’s so much easier than typing. LOL

    Good luck with your taxes!

  5. I can’t wait to see the pictures. 🙂 I often wish I knew what I was doing photography wise. I also wish I had a great camera so I could learn lol. Oh well 🙂 I play with the one I have now sometimes (usually unsuccessfully but I have fun doing it. lol)

  6. I’m willing to bet that after you turn in the book and do some other things, ideas will attack you from all sides and your break won’t last long. :great: But enjoy it while it lasts! And good for you for being willing to take a break rather than do something that doesn’t set your hair on fire.

  7. :crying: While I understand your decision, I also hve to tell you that you are one of my fave authors and I will truly miss your work, your characters and the your amazing ability to tie your characters together. Please live very fast and take in everything around you quickly….because I’m greedy!

  8. I’m interested to hear that report back about the signing, LOL!

And with writing, I think you’re right. there’s a delicate balance between knowing this is a business and still loving the creative process.

  9. :great:I admire you for knowing when you need to stop writing, when it’s not there and wouldn’t be there for us fans if you wrote it.

I envy you for being able to do what you want and take a break.

You are a wonderful writer and I will always be a fan. I look forward to the next few books and then the things to come–later!!

Be proud of your acomplishments and take care!

  10. Hey there! Give yourself time (say the whole summer) to do things that keep your mind off the computer. You need some adventure, even little ones, to fill your well. And if you feel like writing about one of your little adventures, stick it in a folder to think about later. Rest, play, but be sure and let us know how you are!!
