here it is…
list your top ten favorite romance books and top ten movies. Here are mine in no particular order:

1. It Had to be You, Susan Elizabeth Philips.
2. Outlander, Dianna Gabaldon
3. Dream River Dorothy Garlock
4. Gift of Gold, Jayne Ann Krentz
5. Fancy Pants, Susan Elizabeth Philips
6. One Summer Karen Robards
7. Any of Johanna Lindsey Wyoming Series books. LOL
8. Hellion, Bertrice Small
9. Menage, Emma Holly
10. Three Kisses Cait London

This romance books were actually hard for me. I had to go pull my box out of the closet because in looking over my bookshelves, I noticed I’ve stopped reading as much romance as I used to, and what I do have on there currently, I wouldn’t classify as one of my top ten. Most of the ones on this list are ones I read before I ever started writing, and still reread at times. You know, the comfort reads.

1. Practical Magic
2. Thelma and Louise
3. The Fifth Element
4. The Boondock Saints
5. The Best of the Best
6. The Replacement Killers
7. The Big Hit
8. Bladerunner
9. The Thirteenth Warrior
10. Constantine

Movies,..ahh movies I could go on and on..
honorable mentions would be Play It To the Bone, Fear, The Truth about Cats and Dogs, Four Brothers, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon. So many more…

What about you? I’m tagging Beth Williamson, Lauren Dane, and Cathryn Fox

  1. I was surprised at your romance list because I thought, geez, non of those authors write the book I’d think you were actively reading (although I know JAK is a comfort read for you.)

    I love Practical Magic too!!

  2. Jaq, I know! I looked at my books, and all of my favorites and current reads, none of them are what I would classify as romance. Most of my current reads are things liek Mercy Thompson series, Sookie Stachouse series, Stephanie Plum and the Rogue Angel series.

The romance’s that I have read lately just don’t come close to making it into my top ten.
