I watched the first season of True Blood avidly. I even enjoyed it. The second seasons was okay, but by the third I’d stopped watching. Not really sure why, time, effort, to busy maybe. I’ve read almost all of the books, so I’m familiar with most of the characters…and I have to say, when I found out Joe Manganiello was playing Alcide, I’ve been very very tempted to go back and pick up where I left off. Lord, this man is hot. Makes me want to write a werewolf story.

I had the same reaction, but went back and bought all 3, and then was like WTF I give up. LOL, But my niece promises me that this current season is going back to the “character” stories I was getting a hoot from in the first season, she made me promise to hang with it, so when this current season ends I’ll go buy it. But if it gets too much off track again,I’ll likely give up on it.
