Yes, I know I showed you a pic yesterday….but I have more..so I thought I’d share.
Isn’t he truly fantasy material?
I went and saw his new movie Pathfinder a while ago. The first day it released actually. Anyway, the movie was pretty good. The story didn’t hold any real surprises, but it weas well made, and I love action movies. Especially action movies that have a bit of romance in them too.
It starts with Karl’s character, as a young boy, being found by a Native American woman in an abandoned Viking Ship crashed against the shore. Then skips to years later when he’s a man, and it becomes obvious he’s never been truly accepted by all of those he now considers his people. He’s told by the Elder that he can’t be a Brave until he’s conquered the demons of his past. (Which means he can’t be considered an acceptable suitor for the woman from the other village that he longs for.)
When the Vikings come to their shores again, and slaughter his parents and the village , he gets the chance to confront his path. THere’s nto a lot of dialogue inthis movie, but honestly, it wasn’t needed.
Do I think it will be a blockbuster? No. It’s not glitzy or glamorous enough. Do I think you should go see it? YES!!
Was he in Chronicles of Riddick?:confused: When I say yesterdays pic he looked familiar,but today I was thinking that he looks hella familiar. He is yummalish though. 😉

oh i am so glad someone else saw it besides me lol. oh i am in love with him. been following his career for a long time now. i am super glad he is being regonise as a leading actor not just secondary. i saw pathfinder good movie u r right not a blockbuster it will make its money on dvd. becuse i will be picking it up my self. hope u r having a good time at the rt. hope to hear n see all when u come back. :jump:
Okay. I need to disagree on the movie. I found it to be awful. Visually appealing in many places, but overall awful. My main gripe of many, being whoever edited it, needs punished. Atrocious.
But as for him, he is alright. I liked him best as Eomer in the LOTRs.
WM~ I’ve heard several people say they didn’t like it. I myself did. Maybe it was just because I love Karl Urban, maybe it was because I didn’t expect much from it to start with. It could’ve been a lot better if they spent more money on it, but at the same time, I think the story was there.
