Some people are day people, some people are not. I myself have always thought of myself as a night person. Probably because I was 18 years old when I started working nights, and I still work nights. I’ve had other jobs that are day jobs, but I always go back to nights.
Working in the service (hospitality) industry is different from any other job I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a few. (Retail, marketing, Coach, Martial Arts Instructor, Optical Lab, Photo Lab, Sales)
These two things combine to make me very aware of the fact that working nights in the hospitality industry gives me a lot of fodder for stories. After all, truth is stranger than fiction. 😛
Tonight I had to deal with a woman (notice I don’t use the word Lady) that was very loud and combatitive. She was a proud lesbian (no I am not predjudice …but she was very vocal about this…so I say it.) that wanted everyone in our lounge to know not only her sexual orientation, but also the fact that her wife dumped her today, she was pregnant, and it ‘s her birthday.
I think I can fit her into a book somewhere. In fact I know I will, she’ll be in my first thriller; I think she’ll be the first victim. The ‘trigger’ that sets of a serial killer.
Now THAT’s a character ~grin~ and once again you have started off my day with a big smile, Thank you
😀 LOL!
Sounds exciting!!! Can’t wait to read it!
LMAO@trigger :hehe:
😀 You sound like Don Cherry Sasha…"It’s ‘WOMAN’s Hockey…Ladies do not play hockey!".
I am confused, if she is the husband why is she the one pregnant…and who is the father? My hubby is very predudice, he always says when two lesbians or homos can get pregnant without outside help then he will except them having kids.
I actually enjoy Don Cherry so I’l ltake that as a compliment. 😉
