The internet says it’s -23 celcius, and I’m thinking “Shit, I have to walk to work this morning.”
Sorry I didn’t blog last week, it was a hectic one. Snow all day wednesday and thursday, which meant some shoveling, and then there was work, and on Thursday night my truck died (fuel pump), and on Saturday was my birthday.
The truck couldn’t be fixed over the weekend so I have to walk to work this morning, and pick it up after work. I’m not looking forward to my 30 minute walk in the snow when the temperature is -23. For you Americans thats -9.5 F Not super cold to us, but cold enough that I don’t want to walk for 3 kilometers. LOL
I think tonight will be write off time wise as well as I have plans with friends after I pick up my truck. Then tomorrow is work again. I was hired to do a stagette last weekend (as the photographer) so I have to finish editing those pictures ASAP. I’m about three quarters done. It was a cool party, too, they has a 20’s flapper theme going on, and I’m treating some of the photos with a sepia/vintage twists. I hope they like them.
My plan is by this time next week I’ll be done the photos, AND Mavericks of Space (a new Kindle thing I’ve been trying to finish for about three months…Yes, I’ve been very A.D.D these last months) and a new treat me and a couple of buddies have cooked up for a christmas surprise.
It’s that time of year again where I’m making TO DO Lists a mile long….what about you? What are your plans for this week?
BRRRRR!!!
Think walking on the beach maybe that will help ❓ My car is acting up too, but at least I’m not walking in the snow
You are a busy girl – hope your Birthday was amazing!!!
My to do – ya know I don’t know. I think I just need to get past today 🙄
Can’t wait for the new kindle release.

Obviously, I will never, EVER, live in Canada. 😯
Please stay warm, hon–& happy belated birthday!! 😀

I feel a distinction must be made, it may not be super cold for you Albertans, but that’s damn cold for a Torontonian! Hell I don’t think it gets that cold here without a severe wind chill. lol.
Enjoy life, chica!
The walk actually wasn’t that bad fro the first 18 minutes. The last 5-10 were killer though.
BTW, I was prepared and dressed appropriately.
LOL> Raine, I know it can get just as cold in parts of the USA. Just not sure where. LOL
Really? I thought it got really cold in TO sometimes. WIth windchill yesterday it got to -35. UGH! Thanks GOd there was no wind when I walked in the morning.
The rest of this week should be warm though.
It does get really cold here. -23C would be really (really) cold. 😛 I think the avg winter temp here is between -5C and -10C . But if you’re bundled up and moving (and/or wind is at your back), you’re right, it’s not bad. 😎
Belated Happy Birthday!! I’m so glad to see you’re writing again.
