I’m in awe of how much some of you are donating to my run. Thank You. I know economic times are tough, and I really appreciate your help with this cause. I’m working out and physically getting ready for the run. DId I mention I Hate running. yes, hate is a strong word, but I really do hate it. Even when I was in tiptop shape running was something I hated. I’m out of shape now and I really hate it. Right now I hate it more becasue I’m so overwieght I can’t run. It kills my knees and ankles. However, I’m working on the treadmill and the X-trainer at the gym, and soon I’ll be better. Right now it’s taking me 21 minutes to do a mile (5k = 3.10 miles) walking. (and my knee is killing me at the end of it) My original goal is to be able to do the 5k run in 45 minutes, so I think I can do that by October 4th.

Now…how do you win the books I mentioned?
Twice a month I’ll be drawing a winners for some free books and treats that have been donated by generous author friends. If you want to enter the draw all you have to do is donate to my charity fund. You can do so on THIS PAGE of the Run For The Cure site. Unfortunately on that site you do have to have a credit card to donate. IF you want to donate, but do not have a credit card, and wish to do it by pay pal. Please use the CONTACT form here on my website and email me with RUN FOR THE CURE in the subject header, and I’ll tell you how to do so.

For every $5 you donate, your name will be entered into the draw once So if you donate $20, you’ll get 4 entries. Once you enter, that enters you for every draw from then on. The draw on June 30th is for 2 Monica Burns books…one of which is a brand new print release!
